Method
  1. Clean chicken and marinate in ginger garlic paste for about 2 hours.
  2. Grind together onion, green chillies, garlic flakes, coriander leaves, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, cumin, pepper corns and poppy seeds to make a fine paste.
  3. Marinate chicken in this masala for about 5 hours or overnight.
  4. Heat oil in a pan, add marinated chicken and salt and cook on slow fire till done.

4 pieces (400g) of chicken
3 tsp ginger garlic paste
5 green chillies
1 onion
1/2 bunch freshly chopped coriander leaves
1 cardamom
4 pepper corns
2 cloves
1 inch cinnamon
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp poppy seeds/khus khus
1 lemon-sized ball of tamarind
1 tbsp oil
Salt to taste
