Apple Cobbler

Method
  1. Beat egg,sugar and milk in a bowl
  2. In a separate bowl,sift flour,baking powder and salt
  3. Add the flour slowly to the egg mix and mix well so that there are no lumps.Batter should be of thick pouring consistency.
  4. Now add vanilla extract,cinnamon powder,chopped raisins and almonds.
  5. Grease a baking dish(2-2.5quarts)with butter.Arrange apple slices on the dish without gaps.
  6. Pour the batter mix over the apples to cover the entire fruit.
  7. Place the dish in preheated oven(350f) and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Apple cobbler would be ready if it is lightly browned on top.
  9. Serve warm.You can serve this as a tea time snack along with coffee or as a dessert with your favourite icecream on top.

apple - 3 medium size(peeled and sliced)
egg - 1
milk - 1/4 cup
sugar - 3/4 cup
all purpose flour - 1 cup
baking powder - 1tsp
salt - 1/2 tsp
cinnamon powder - 1tsp
melted butter - 2 tsp
vanilla extract - 1 tsp
almonds, coarsely crushed - 2 tsp
raisins, chopped - 1 tsp
