Method
  1. Mix together, Maida, semolina and soda.
  2. Beat butter and sugar together.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Add the essence.
  4. Add the Maida semolina mixture.
  5. Add enough coconut milk to form a batter, slightly thinner than cake batter.
  6. Pour in a greased baking tin.
  7. Sprinkle fried cashew nuts and raisins on top.
  8. Bake in a moderate oven till done, about 45-50 minutes.
  9. Cool and serve cut into fingers.

Makes: 10 to 12 pieces

Ingredients:
1 cup - maida
1 cup - semolina
1 tsp - sodium bicarbonate
½ cup - butter
1 cup - powdered sugar
4 - eggs
few drops - rose essence
thick coconut milk as needed
fried cashew nuts and raisins to garnish
