Keralite Meen (Fish) Cutlets

Method
  1. Mix & mash the above ingredients together (other than the oil) and shape into neat balls rolling them in your palms.
  2. Coat them evenly with beaten egg, followed by bread crumbs.
  3. Deep-fry them in heated oil & allow to drain on paper towels before serving with ketchup.

Tip: Instead of deep frying, you can shallow fry them but in this case, shape them into flat cutlets, not globular ones.

Ingredients:
2 cans white meat tuna flakes
2 large potatoes - boiled, skinned & mashed
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp haldi powder
1/2 tsp jeera powder
1 tsp pepper powder
Salt to taste
1 egg
1 cup bread crumbs
Oil for deep frying
