Method
Deep fry the onion in hot oil till golden brown.
Reserve 2 Tbsp of fried onion for garnish and grind the remaining to a paste.
Heat 3 tbsp of the oil in which onion was fried.
Add mutton and cook stirring till it is evenly browned. Add all the powders and salt, garlic and ginger.
Continue to cook stirring, adding curds little at a time and cooking till the liquid is evaporated.
Add the brown onion paste and 1 cup of water. Simmer till the mutton is cooked.
Garnish with reserved onion and serve hot with steamed rice or paratha.

Ingredients:
750 g - mutton
2 cup - onion, sliced
1 cup - curds
1 tsp - chilli powder or to taste
