Chicken Biriyani

Method
  1. Grind garlic, ginger, red chillies, cinnamon, cloves and anise.
  2. Pour oil in a vessel.
  3. Heat oil and add chopped onion, tomato, biriyani leaf & saut� for some time.
  4. Add the mixture, mint leaves, coriander leaves, cleaned chicken pieces & saut�.
  5. Add biriyani powder & salt to your taste. Saut� the gravy till dry.
  6. Add 10 cups of water + coconut milk and allow it to boil.
  7. Add the rice and keep the vessel in a pressure cooker allow to cook till 3 whistles.
Ingredients:
1/2 kg - chicken
5 medium size cups - biriyani rice or basmati rice
3 - onion
2 - tomato
2 - cinnamon
4 - cloves
1 tsp - anise
2 - biriyani leaf
35 g - biriyani powder
5 tbsp - oil
coconut milk taken from half coconut
a small piece - ginger
1 - garlic, full
3 - green chillies
5 - red chillies
little - coriander leaves
little - mint leaves
