Method
- Clean and soak rice and dal separately for 5 hours
- Separately grind rice and dal using required quantity of water.
- Mix rice, dal and salt to form a thick batter.
- Keep this mixture overnight for fermentation.
- In the morning, stir this mixture well.
- Pour one ladleful of batter on a heated non-stick tava.
- Cook till one side turns a light brown.
- Flip on the other side and cook for some seconds.
- Serve hot with tomato and coconut chutney to make tri colour dosa.
