Tomato Chutney in Oil

Method
  1. Chop onion finely.
  2. Chop tomatoes and mix with onions.
  3. Add vinegar, chilli powder salt & sugar and mix well.
  4. Heat oil in kadai and fry mustard seeds until they crackle.
  5. Add tomato mixture and cook until tender and the chutney thickens.
  6. Bottle when cool.
Ingredients:
1 lb tomatoes
1 large onions
4 oz vinegar
1 tsp mustard seeds
3 tsp chilli powder
4 oz mustard oil
Salt & pepper to taste
