Method
- Knead all the ingredients to make a soft dough with enough water.
- Divide the dough into 5 portions; roll out each portion into a 5 inch diameter thin circle/roti.
- Cook each circle on a tawa on both sides using a little ghee until brown spots appear.
- Fold a clean muslin cloth and use it to press the khakhra down while it is cooking over a slow flame till it is crisp.
- Repeat with remaining rotis.
- Cool and serve.
