Deep Fried Idli Patties

Method
  1. Mix all the ingredients with the batter.
  2. Take a spoonful of batter and deep fry in oil.
  3. Serve hot with sauce or mint chutney.
Ingredients:
4 cups - idli batter
1 cup - finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp - finely chopped green chilli
1 tbsp – finely chopped coriander leaves
1/2 tsp - ginger paste
1/2 tsp - garlic paste
a pinch of asafoetida
salt to taste
oil to fry
