Method
  1. Cook carrot, tomato, potato, cabbage, beans and onion and grind them into a smooth paste.
  2. Now add the tamarind paste, jaggery, chilly powder, asafoetida and salt to it and let it boil for a while.
  3. Now garnish with curry leaves and coriander leaves.
  4. Vegetable rasam is ready.
  5. This will form the best portion of a very healthy meal.
  6. Serve it with hot steamed rice and chips.

Ingredients:
1 - carrot
1 - tomato
1 - potato
50g - beans
50g - cabbage
1 - onion
Tamarind, small lemon sized
1/2 tsp - chilly powder
Jaggery, for taste
Salt to taste
A pinch - asafoetida/hing/perungayam
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
