Method
Wash and dry the rice then rub in 1 tsp ghee.
Bring the milk to a boil; add rice and cook on a slow flame till the rice is very well cooked.
Add sugar and cook till milk reaches a creamy consistency.
Add the powdered cardamom, nutmeg, saffron, almond, pista and raisins.
Simmer for 2 minutes and serve.
It can be eaten hot with puris or cold as a pudding.

Ingredients:
8 cups - milk
4 tbsp - rice
1 tsp - powdered cardamom
1/4 tsp - saffron
1 tbsp - raisins
