Method
  1. Fry rice till it is warm.
  2. Powder to a suji or rava consistency.
  3. Heat oil in a heavy-bottom vessel or pressure pan
  4. Put in all the ingredients one by one and add broken rice and fry for 2 min.
  5. Add boiling water to the rice and cover for 5-7 min.
  6. Take water in vessel, wet your hand
  7. Take upma in your hand and make a ball of it
  8. Press in a finger to make a hole.
  9. Put these balls in an idli mould and steam for 10 minutes.
  10. Serve hot with coconut chutney.

4-5 - red chilli (finely chopped)
Turmeric powder, a pinch
