Method
- Remove centre from top of cake, leaving a shell at least 3/4 inches in thickness.
- Fill with icecream and cover with merigue made by beating eggs and adding sugar & vanilla.
- Bake in a hot oven 450 F until light brown & serve at once.
Ingredients:
1 sponge cake
1 litre ice cream
3 egg whites
3 tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
