Beans in yoghurt

Method
  1. Mix beans, capsicums and onions with oil, lemon juice, sugar, garlic paste and salt. Toss and chill.
  2. Blend all sauce ingredients and chill.
  3. Before serving, pour sauce over vegetables in a suitable pattern and serve chilled.
Ingredients:
400 gms. french beans, threads removed, cut into strips, cooked to crunchy stage
4 capsicums, cut into strips
2 onions, chopped finely
2 tbsp. oil
1/2 tsp. garlic paste
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. sugar
Salt to taste

For the sauce:
1 cup yoghurt
2 tbsp. cream
2 tbsp. mint leaves, chopped
2 tbsp. coriander leaves, chopped
1/2 tsp. chilli powder
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp caramel syrup
Salt to taste
