Curried Turai with dumplings

Method
For the dumplings:
  1. Take 100g besan flour, add salt and spices as per taste.
  2. Knead into dough and make small balls/dumplings

For the curry:

  1. Peel and cut turai into cubes
  2. Heat oil in the pan, add cumin seeds
  3. Make puree of the tomato
  4. When the cumin seeds start crackling, add tomato puree, salt and spices.
  5. When the gravy is boiling, chopped turai, coriander leaves and mix well.
  6. Add 1 cup of water and the dumplings; cook till turai is tender.
  7. Eat with rice or roti.
Ingredients:
250g - turai
100g - besan flour
1 - tomato
1 tsp - cumin seed
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
1 tsp - coriander powder
1 tbsp - oil for cooking
1 cup - coriander leaves
