Methi matar malai

Method
  1. Heat oil, temper jeera.
  2. Fry onions, ginger, garlic, green chilli till onions turn golden brown.
  3. Sprinkle salt.
  4. Add fresh methi leaves.
  5. Fry for a couple of minutes till it shrinks.
  6. Add frozen peas, spice powders, curd and fry for a minute.
  7. Add half and half.
  8. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  9. Add little water to desired consistency.
  10. Simmer for 2-3 mintues. Garnish with kasuri methi.
  11. Serve with nans or roti

Ingredients:
1 cup - onion chopped
1/2 tsp - ginger, chopped
1 pod - garlic, chopped
1/2 tsp - cumin/jeera
Salt
3/4 cup - frozen peas
1 cup - methi leaves
Kasuri methi crushed (optional), a few strands
1 - green chilli
1 tbsp - oil
1 tbsp - curd
1/2 cup - half and Half (cream/malai) or less depending on the consistency you want
Spice powders:
1/2 tsp - garam masala
1/2 tsp - Kitchen king masala
1/4 tsp - chilli powder
1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
1/2 tsp - coriander powder
