Moong dal ladoos

Method
  1. Soak dal overnight and grind it coarsely.
  2. Heat the ghee and brown the dal till golden in colour. Keep stirring.
  3. Add the ground sugar to the dal. Add the crushed cardamoms, saffron dissolved in a little milk and finely crushed dry fruits. Wait till cool.
  4. Add the remaining ghee in the dal and form into ladoos.
Ingredients:
3 cups moong dal
3 cups sugar, ground
2 ½ cups ghee
A little saffron and crushed dry fruits
6 green cardamoms, powdered
