Lemon Rice

Method
  1. Roast and grind coriander seeds, methi seeds and red chillies.
  2. Cook basmati rice with little oil and keep it aside to cool.
  3. Take a pan put oil, add mustard, channa dal and peanuts.
  4. When the channa dal turns red, add ginger and chillies.
  5. Now add the ground ingredients from step 1.
  6. Squeeze the lemon and add salt & turmeric. Mix well.
  7. Turn off the flame and add the rice.
  8. Mix everything well and serve with curry leaves.
Ingredients:
1 cup - basmati rice
1 teaspoon - channa dal
1 teaspoon - mustard seeds
1 teaspoon - peanuts
1 tablespoon - oil
1/2 teaspoon - methi seeds
1 teaspoon - coriander seeds
1 - lemon
sliced green chillies
chopped ginger
curry leaves
few dried red chillies
turmeric powder
salt to taste
