Carrot and Capsicum Palya

Method
  1. Heat the oil in a kadai. Add mustard.
  2. When it splutters, add dal and chilli.
  3. When the dal turns light brown, add capsicum and fry till it turns light brown.
  4. Add carrot and salt and sauté lightly.
  5. Remove from fire, add lime juice and coriander leaves.
  6. Serve with chapathi or rice and curry.
Ingredients:
3 cup - green capsicums, cut into small pieces (discard seeds)
2 cup - grated carrot
1 tsp - mustard seeds
2 tsp - black gram (urad) dal
1 - dry red chilli, broken into two
2 tbsp - lime juice
4 tbsp - coriander leaves , chopped
salt to taste
3 tbsp - oil
