Method
  1. Finely chop the onion, green chillie and ginger.
  2. Now make a batter (consistency of dosa batter) with the chopped onion, green chillies, ginger, chilli powder, salt, and asafetida powder.
  3. Slice the bread into horizontally and vertically so that you get 4 square pieces out of 1 bread slice.
  4. Dip the bread piece in the batter and deep fry it in hot oil.
  5. Serve hot bread pakoda.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup - chickpeas powder
1 - onion, medium sized
2 slices - bread
1 - green chillies
1 small piece - ginger
1 pinch - asafetida
1/4 tsp - chilli powder
salt to taste
