Method
- Mix both the flours with salt, red chilli powder, 1/4tsp of ajwain and baking soda
- Prepare bajji batter & keep aside.
- Slit chillies, remove the seeds, and keep aside.
- Prepare stuffing wih grated coconut, chopped onion, chopped coriander, remaining ajwain, amchur powder, garam masala and some salt.
- Fill the chillies with the stuffing, add some of the removed seeds if you want it to be more spicy
- Dip the stuffed chillies in the batter & deep fry them till they become light golden brown in colour
- Place them on paper napkin and serve hot with chutney or tomato sauce.
Tip: You can substitute dessicated coconut powder for fresh coconut.
