Chef Piyawat began his culinary journey 48 years ago in 1978. He brings with him a vast experience in Thai cuisine and has been associated with Courtyard by Marriott, Gurgaon since its opening.
His passion, experience, sensibility and dedication to food in all its forms have seen him evolve and develop into a dynamic personality, adapting to various roles across the globe. His areas of expertise lie in Thai food, but he is also an expert in fruits and vegetables carving and in preparing over 60 varieties of Chinese food.
Chef Piyawat used to run a Thai food restaurant in Bangkok. Later, he worked at Taj Malabar Hotel in Cochin, India. He spends his free time reconnecting with old friends and making new ones.
