Courtyard by Marriott, Chennai introduces a new menu at Rhapsody, this time with a twist of Olives and Mushrooms! The foodies can confer a new taste to their palate with an appealing menu creatively crafted by Chef Suresh Thampy, Executive Chef, which brings forth a myriad of preparations of Olives and Mushrooms.
Guests can choose and experiment with these ingredients in a variety of delectable preparations, forming an entire meal with a combination of the two. One can taste unusually preserved Olives from those stuffed with almonds and garlic to gherkins and a Fontina base. `Kalamata`, a special kind of Olive from Greece will also be showcased in the menu. On the other hand, around 150 varieties of Mushrooms will splurge across the table for customers to explore the distinction that this particular ingredient has to offer.
Chef Suresh Thampy has enlisted a range of signature dishes which is a must try for all. He suggests that one can begin with Anti Pasti and Zuppa, then move on to the Fungi Tartra Con Alphonsa Olives Lattuga, a signature dish which is a herb souffle precisely set with Button Mushrooms and Alphonsa Olives; and Pizza Pepperoni e Olives for main course, which consists of thin crust base topped with four types of mushrooms. For pasta, Chef recommends Spaghetti Con Carciofi, Shitake Peperoncino Olive Kalamata e Basilica tossed with Shitake Mushroom, Artichokes and Kalamata Olives. Finally, the palate can be sweetened by Tiramisu, the traditional delicacy of Italy, a perfect way to end the meal!
This extravagant offering begins on October 23rd 2009 and is on till November 8th 2009.
