Method
1. Preheat the oven at 160°C for 15 mins.
2. Grease a baking tray and dust it with a little flour (maida) and set aside.
3. Combine flour, cocoa and baking powder. Sieve together.
4. In a deep bowl, combine butter and sugar. Beat until light and creamy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating the mixture well each time you add the eggs
5. Mix gradually, until all the sieved mixture, sweetened condensed milk and milk are over.
6. Add the chopped walnuts and mix well. Pour mixture into a greased tray.
7. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for approx. 25 mins. or until done. Remove from oven and leave to cool in a tray.
For the icing:
1. Melt the butter, add cocoa powder and cook over low flame for 1 min. Remove from heat and mix in the sweetened condensed milk, the orange peel and orange essence.
2. Stir and mix very well. Pour the icing over the cake and leave to set.
3. When set, cut into squares.
