Method
- Add all the ingredients (except oil) in a bowl and mix together to make thick dough using very little water. Keep aside.

Pour oil in a deep skillet and heat.
- When it is hot, take small batches of the dough, shape into a small circle and drop carefully into the hot oil.
- Crisp vadas are ready in no time.
Note: No grinding or soaking is required.

Ingredients:
4 cups grated carrot
3 cups chickpea flour (Senagapindi, Besan)
1 cup powdered peanuts/groundnuts (roasted or raw)
1/2 cup grated coconut (fresh or dry)
1 tsp cumin seeds
A handful of cilantro, chopped finely
A small piece of ginger, skin peeled and chopped finely
Chopped green chillies or chilli powder, as needed (I added 6 green chilies)
A pinch of soda
Salt as needed
Oil to deep fry
