In bowl mix mash the bread slices using a little milk. Add the beaten
eggs, the ginger paste. The consistency should be thick enough to be rolled
into little balls and deep fried. Then add the onions, the cilantro, the
green chillies, and the salt. Mix everything together very well.
(For those who don't care much about excess carbohydrate intake, you can
add some leftover boiled potatoes in this mix)
Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Make little dumps with the dough and fry
the pakoras till medium brown. The best way would be to heat the oil in
high, and then keep the heat at medium-high while frying.
Place some oil paper or paper towels in a plate. Put the pakoras on the
oil paper or the paper towels. This helps in soaking some of the extra oil
and fat from the pakoras. Dab the pakoras lightly with the paper towels.
Then serve hot with your choice of drink.
