Bread & Mince Puffs

Method
  1. Pour Oil in a pan. Cut bread slices to 1/2 inch pieces and deep fry in oil.

  2. Drain and keep it on a tissue paper to absorb extra oil. Then add more oil if required to the pan.

  3. Add thinly cut onions and fry till golden pink. Add cinnamon turmeric & clove powder, ginger garlic paste, chopped chillies and fry well.

  4. Add mince and salt and fry till done. Bring down from stove and allow to cool.

  5. Make small puris add the fried bread slices to the mince mixture and place 2 tsp of this mix on the puris

  6. And fold in a semi-circle mode and stick firmly by pressing on the sides or giving a curved roll on the sides so that the stuffing doesn't come out.

  7. Heat oil in a pan and add the puffs one by one and fry till golden brown changing sides.

  8. Remove and serve hot with tamato ketchup & mint chutney. Try this hot during winter to ward off your cold.

Ingredients:
For Stuffing:
1/2 loaf Bread core
200 gms - lamb mince
2 small onions
1 tsp each ginger & garlic paste
2-3 green chillies chopped
a pinch each of cinnamon, clove & turmeric powder;
Oil & Salt as required.

For Dough:
prepare as for puri (preferably with maida flour)
