Desi Chicken Curry

Method
  1. Cut an onion into 2 halves.
  2. Place the flat part as base on the chopping board and slice the onions.
  3. Peel the garlic cloves and use them full.
  4. Heat mustard oil in a pressure cooker keep the lid open.
  5. Fry the chicken peices one by one (dont fry the chicken completely).
  6. Keep it aside.
  7. In the same oil saute onions and whole garlic cloves.
  8. (as described earlier) till they turn brown.
  9. Put meat masala, haldi, red chilli powder and a lil salt.
  10. Put crushed tomatoes(optional)
  11. Put some water(lil) in it n Fry the masala. Fry till the masala starts leaving oil.
  12. Put the fried chicken in the masala.
  13. Fry for 2 min and then put water.
  14. Cover the lid and give 2 or 3 pressures to it depending upon how much u fries the chicken.
  15. Donot over cook.
  16. Desi chicken curry is ready.
  17. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve.
Ingredients:
1 - chicken,
6 to 7 - onions (medium sized),
1 - whole garlic
1 - tomato, grind in a mixer (optional)
2 cups - mustard oil
3/4 tsp - meat masala
1/4 tsp - haldi,
red mirchi powder
salt to taste
