Method
- Grind onion, garlic and ginger till fine.
- Grind black pepper seeds, cumin and sweet cumin till fine.
- Grind almonds and cashew nuts till fine.
- Wash chicken and cut into pieces.
- Marinate with ground onion mixture, yoghurt and turmeric for 15 mins.
- Place in pot and cook for 10 mins.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the ground almond mixture and clove powder for a few seconds.
- Add cooked chicken pieces.
- Stir well, then add ground pepper mixture.
- Stir fry till chicken is light brown.
- Add tomato sauce and salt to taste.
- Serve hot with rice.
