Fish Curry

Method
  1. Clean and cut fish into medium pieces and keep aside.
  2. Dry roast dhaniya and chilly pdr for a minute.
  3. Grind together grated coconut, powders, shallots adding tamarind pulp to a smooth paste.
  4. Slit green chilly and cut tomatoes into cubes.
  5. In a kadai or a cook n serve dishm, heat a tsp of oil.
  6. Add methi, fry for a sec.
  7. Add ground masala, 2 cups of water and bring it to boil for 3 mins.
  8. Now add fish, tomatoes and greenchillies and cook for 5-7 mins.
  9. Close it with a lid .
  10. Finally add curry leaves and remaining oil and stir.
  11. Serve with boiled rice.
Ingredients:
king fish - 500 gms
shallots - 5 nos
tomato - 1 large
green chilly - 4 nos
curry leaves - few
grated coconut - 1 cup
coconut oil - 2 tbspns
methi - 1/4 tsp
chilly pdr - 2 tsp
dhaniya pdr - 1/2 tsp
turmeric pdr - 1/4 tsp
tamarind pulp - 1/2 cup
salt to taste
