Method
- Heat oil; fry sliced onions till brown on medium flame.
- Ensure onions are not blackened.
- Put bay leaf and chillies and stir for 2-3 mins.
- Thereafter, put the chicken breast strips and stir fry for 12-15 mins.
- Add salt and cook for another 5 mins. Switch off gas.
- Cover the pot and rest for at least 5 mins before serving.
Note: This simple chicken dish can be made even without chillies. For those who prefer the chicken spicier cut the chillies into fine pieces.
