Method
Beat the ghee with the powdered sugar and brown sugar till light and fluffy.
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well.
Add the vanilla essence.
Sift the sifted flour together with baking soda and salt.
Add flour to egg mixture.
Add the crushed peanuts, fried and salted (with the inner brown skin removed).
Chill the dough for 1 hour.
Shape the dough into small balls the size of a walnut; place on a greased baking tray and flatten with fingers.
Sprinkle a little sugar on each biscuit.
Bake at 185 deg about 10 mins. till biscuits are golden brown.
Remove from the tray while biscuits are hot and cool on wire racks.
Store in air-tight containers when completely cold.

Ingredients:
1 cup dalda ghee
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup brown sugar (or powdered jaggery)
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla essence
3 cups sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1&1/4 cups lightly crushed peanuts
A little sugar to sprinkle
