Method
- Preheat the oven and line cup cake pans with paper liner.
- Combine flours, sugar, baking powder, salt and mix on low speed until combined.
- Add butter, mixing until just coated with flour.
- In another bowl whisk eggs, milk, vanilla essence.
- On medium speed, add the wet ingredients in 3 batches, beat until incorporated, but do not beat too much.
- Pour the batter in greased cups filling only about 2/3 full
- Bake for 18-20 mins
For the frosting:
Mix all the ingredients together and once the cake is cooled spread the frosting on top of it.
