Vanilla Ice Cream

Method
  1. Heat the milk till it reduces to half its quantity.
  2. Mix custard powder in a little cold milk and stir it till it gets dissolved.
  3. Pour it into the boiled milk. Add sugar.
  4. Mix china grass in cold milk and pour it in the boiled milk.
  5. Then close the gas.
  6. When the milk cools down, add the brandy or rose water, cream and vanilla essence. Stir it for a second.
  7. Pour the mixture in aluminium ice cream moulds and keep it in the deep freezer.
  8. When the ice cream becomes hard, churn it again and keep it again in the freezer and remove and serve when ready.

Serves : 3 persons

Ingredients:
700 ml - milk powder
200 g - sugar
2 - egg yolks
30 ml - rose water or brandy
2 tbsp - custard powder
1 tbsp - china grass powder
1 tbsp - cream or thick malai
¼ tsp - vanilla essence
