Method
  1. Wash and soak rice for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile boil eggs.
  3. Removing the outer shell of the boiled eggs, cut white portion of each of the egg into four long pieces without separating it.
  4. In a kadai or pot, heat the clarified butter or oil.
  5. Add spices and fry the onions until they become golden brown and add ginger garlic paste, green chillies, mint, coriander, biryani masala and curd. Cook the entire mixture.
  6. In the same mixture, add one and half times of water to rice (water-rice ratio) and let it boil.
  7. Add soaked rice mixing well. Cover the pot and cook till rice is done.
  8. Then add red chilli powder,salt,eggs and besan. Fry until the eggs get coated with the spices. Remove the eggs and set aside.
  9. When the air holes appear on the rice surface, reduce the stove heat to low. Cook until all of the water has drained off and the rice is tender.
  10. Top rice with eggs. Serve with salad!
Ingredients:
1/2 kg - basmati rice
1 cup - plain yogurt
8 - eggs
4 - green chillies
6 tbsps - clarified butter
1 - big onion
1 tbsp - biryani masla powder
1 tbsp - fried onion
1 tbsp - fresh coriander leaves
1 tbsp - ginger garlic paste
1 - bunch mint
1 tbsp - oil
salt as per taste
proportionate garam masala
