Method
- Cut mushrooms vertically into four pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add mushrooms and salt and cook till the water in the mushrooms evaporates.
- In another pan heat oil.
- Now add ginger/garlic paste, onion paste and green chilli.
- Add whole garam masala. Fry till onions they turn brown.
- Now add dry masala and garam masala powder.
- Fry for some time. Add water if required.
- Now add soaked rice and mushrooms and fry for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Now add water and cover it.
- When the biryani is half cooked add capsicum.
- Keep the biryani on dum for some time. Now garnish it with tomato, onion egg and coriander leaves.
- Serve with curd.
