Perfect Chocolate Cake

  1. Stir together all the dry ingredients.
  2. Sift them and collect it in a large bowl.
  3. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla extract and beat on medium speed for 2 mins.
  4. Now stir in the boiling water.
  5. The batter will definitely be thin.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350 deg F or 180 deg C.
  7. Grease and flour two 9-inch baking pans or any desired pan.
  8. Now pour in the prepared batter into the pans and bake in 180 deg C for 30-35 mins or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
  9. Cool on wire rack for 15 mins and frost.

Note: If you want your cake plain without frosting, increase the sugar level by 1/2 cup or according to taste.

1&3/4 cups - all purpose flour(Maida)
2 cups - powdered sugar
3/4 cup - cocoa powder
1&1/2 tsp - baking powder
1&1/2 tsp - baking soda
1/2 tsp - salt
2 - eggs
1 cup - milk
1/2 cup - cooking oil
2 tsp - vanilla extract
1 cup - boiling water
