Fish Roasted in Banana Leaves (Poora Mas/Mach)

Method
  1. Cut the fish, clean it.
  2. Make deep cuts all over the body.
  3. Grind mustard, garlic, coriander leaves, chili and turmeric powder to a stiff paste.
  4. Mix the paste with lime juice, mustard oil and salt.
  5. Rub this mixture all over the fish, pushing it well into the cuts.
  6. Leave saide for �-1 hour.
  7. Make neat parcels of the fish, wrapping them in banana leaves. (aluminium foil may be used).
  8. Roast the fish on charcoal grill or bake in an oven till done.

Ingredients:
use any white flaky fish
medium size fish - 2 (total weight about 750 gm)
mustard seeds - 2 tsp
garlic - 6 flakes
coriander leaves - � cup, chopped
chili powder - 1 tsp
turmeric powder - 1 tsp
lime juice - 2 tbsp
mustard oil - 2 tbsp
salt to taste
