Method
Wash fish slices and marinate in turmeric, chilli powder and salt to taste.
Liquidise coconut and extract first thick milk (1&1/2 cups) and then thin milk (1 cup).
Heat oil. Add fish and turn without breaking.
Add thin coconut milk and cocum or mango. Cool till done.
Add thick coconut milk.
Boil once only and serve hot with rice.

Ingredients:
2 pomfrets, cleaned, heads and tail removed, sliced
3 cups coconut, grated
