Lahori fried fish

Method
  1. Cut fillet in to long pieces.
  2. Remove fish bones and wash them throughly.
  3. Add gram flour, tamarind pulp, cornflour, lemon juice, ginger /garlic paste, red chilli powder, salt and 1/2 cup water in a bowl to make a mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a wok. Coat fish with gram flour mixture and fry in the wok.
  5. When the pieces turn golden, take them out on paper towels and serve.
Ingredients:
1 kg fish fillet
2 cups gram flour
3 tbsp tamarind pulp
2 tbsp cornflour
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp ginger/garlic paste
1 tbsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp whole coriander seeds
salt to taste
oil to fry
