Peppery fish fingers

Method
  1. Mix all the ingredients for the marinade and marinate the fish fingers and keep aside for 5 mins.
  2. In the remaining, prepare the batter by beating the eggs, spread the breadcrumbs on a plate and heat the oil in a pan.
  3. Pick each of the fish fingers, dip in the beaten egg, roll in bread crumbs and fry each finger turning once or twice till crispy and golden brown.
Ingredients:
400 gms fish fingers cut into bite size strips

For the marinade:

2 tsp ginger paste
2 tsp fresh black pepper paste
(prepared out of fresh pepper) or else use pepper powder
3 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp mustard oil
Salt to taste

For the batter and covering:

2 beaten eggs
2 cups breadcrumbs
Oil for deep frying
Salt to taste
