Method
  1. Marinate the fish pieces, with 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder and salt and keep aside for 15-20 mins.
  2. Pour oil in a kadai, add bay leaves & dried red chillies, now fry the onion till they are brown.
  3. Add a little sugar, red chilly powder and garam masala powder and stir.
  4. Now add 3/4 of the curd and keep on stirring till you see the oil coming out from the masala.
  5. Now place the fish pieces in the mixture carefully.
  6. Cook on high flame till the fish is cooked well. Add salt.
  7. Garnish it with the remaining curd & chopped coriander leaves.
Ingredients:
10 - katle or rahu fish
1 cup - curd
2 - onions (big, sliced)
2 tbsp - ginger paste
2 - bay leaves
2 - dried red chilly
1 tbsp - red chilly powder
1/2 tsp of garam masala powder (green cardmom, cinnamon & cloves)
refined oil
1 tsp - sugar
salt to taste
coriander leaves to garnish
