Indian chilli

Method
  1. Heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the onion until very light brown.
  2. Add the minced meat, garlic and ginger and fry until the mince meat turns brown.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients, bring to the boil, cover and simmer for 50 minutes.
  4. Serve with rice and plain yoghurt.
Ingredients:
3 tbsp. oil
1 large onion, chopped

450 gms. minced meat
2 tsp. crushed garlic
2 tsp. grated ginger
400 gms. peeled, chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp. tomato puree
1 tbsp. ground coriander powder
1 tsp. chilli powder
2 whole chillies
1 capsicum pepper, chopped
400 gms. kidney beans
250 ml water
Salt to taste
