Marinate the fish pieces into 1/4 table spoon vinegar and salt for 10 minutes
Heat the whole oil in a pan and fry the fish pieces for about 15 minutes.
Save the oil after frying the fish
Grind the onion into a fine paste
Heat the oil in a separate pan and add the onion paste and fry for 15 minutes. Add the chilli powder and salt fry for another 10 minutes. Then add the fried fish pieces and fry the mixture till it becomes brown in colour. Add the vinegar, mix well and allow it to cool.
Goes well with rice
If you want to keep for a long time add more vinegar and keep in the refrigerator.
Fish cut into pieces (shark or pomfret)-500grams
Onion medium size - 2
Chilli powder - 1 tablespoon
Vinegar- 1 table spoon
Oil- 4 table spoon
Salt to taste
