Lentil Soup

Method
  1. Put all the ingredients in a cooker, except vinegar.
  2. Stir, close cooker and bring it to full pressure on high heat.
  3. Then reduce heat and cook for 15-20 mins.
  4. Allow it to cool naturally.
  5. Then discard bayleaf.
  6. Mix half the soup lightly in ablender or mash well through a sieve
  7. Return the blended soup to remaining soup, add vinegar.
  8. Stir, reheat and serve hot.
Note :
This is a typical internatinal recipe.
For vegetarians - can avoid ham.
Pepper powder can be put according to the taste.
Ingredients:
lentils - 1 cup
ham - 120 gms
onion, chopped - 1 medium
carrot - 1 chopped
celery - 1/2 cup, chopped
bay leaf - 1
garlic - 1 finely chopped
tomato juice - 3/4 cup
wayer - 4 cups
wine vinegar - 1 tbspn
salt to taste
