Chicken & Sweet Corn Soup

Method
  1. Mix cornflour with 6 tbsps. water to a smooth mixture.
  2. Bring stock to boiling, add chicken and corn and simmer for 7 mins., add cornflour, salt, pepper and ajinomotto and cook till the soup thickens slightly.
  3. Now add the egg through a sieve to create threadlike shreds.
  4. Serve hot, decorated with parsley.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup - canned and creamed corn
5 cups - chicken stock
1 - egg, slightly beaten
1 1/2 tbsp - cornflour
2 tbsps - boiled and shredded chicken
1 tbsp - parsley, sliced
1/4 tsp - ajinomotto
salt and pepper to taste
