Hot and Sour Chicken Soup

Method
  1. Par boil the carrots, French beans and cauliflower.
  2. Keep the stock to boil.
  3. Add spring onions, salt, pepper, aji-no-motto, mushrooms and bamboo shoot. Give 2 to 3 boils.
  4. Add the carrots, beans, capsicum, cauliflower, cabbage, chicken pieces, vinegar, soya sauce and chilli sauce. Give it a boil.
  5. Add the corn flour mixture.
  6. When the soup thickens gradually pour egg stirring all the time.
  7. Remove and serve hot with chilli sauce and chillies in vinegar.

P.S: If you wish to make veg hot and sour soup avoid the chicken.

Ingredients:
2 cups - vegetable/ chicken stock
1 - carrot (cut into fine strips)
6 to 8 - french beans (cut into fine strips)
1 - capsicum
4 to 5 - small florets cauliflower
1 small piece - cabbage ( finely chopped)
� cup - boiled and shredded chicken
a piece - bamboo shoot (cut into strips)
few black - mushrooms (sliced)
salt to taste
� tsp - aji-no-motto
� tsp - pepper
� tsp - chilli sauce
1 to 2 - spring onions (finely chopped)
3 to 4 tbsp - vinegar
2 tsp - soya sauce
1 - egg (beaten)
11/2 tbsp - cornflour (mixed with little water)
