Method
- Grind garlic, cumin and pepper to affine paste.
- Heat the oil in a pressure cooker/pan.
- Add onion and fry till golden brown.
- Add the ground paste, fry till fragrant.
- Add chilli powder and tomato. Cook till tomato is pulpy.
- Add mutton, salt and thin coconut milk. Pressure cook for 15 minutes.
- After the pressure drops, open the cooker and add thick coconut milk.
- Simmer for 2 minutes and remove from fire.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.
Note:
Beef may be used instead of mutton
