Mutton Shahi Korma

Method
  1. Pressure cook mutton cubes in 2 cups of water along with 2 pieces of bay leaves (tej patta) and 1 tsp. salt till tender.
  2. Once cooked, coat with egg and crumbs � deep fry till golden and keep aside.
  3. Heat oil, fry the cloves, cardamoms and onions till golden.
  4. Add the �Mixture� from curds to turmeric.
  5. When oil separates, add 1 � � cup water and bring to a boil.
  6. Add the fried mutton.
  7. Simmer for 10 mins. on low heat and serve.

Makes:4 to 5 Servings

Ingredients:
500 g - mutton cubes

For the Gravy:
� cup - oil
2 - crushed onions
2 - whole cloves (lavang)
2 - whole cardamom (elaichi)

For the Mixture:
1 cup - curd (whipped till smooth)
� tsp - saffron (kesar)
1 tsp - chilli powder
1 tsp - salt
1 tsp - garlic paste
1 tsp - garam masala
2 tbsps - almond powder
1 tsp - kasoori methi
� tsp - turmeric powder (haldi)
